I am a published author of fiction and nonfiction in a variety of print and digital publications and newspapers, including Boys Life, Kid City, Upper Room, and Chicken Soup for the Soul Books.

I am one of the founders and facilitators of the Florida Gulf Coast Writers Circle. Before I participated in judging for the Florida Writers Association competitions, I was honored to be a FWA winner of the Royal Palm Literary Gold Award for unpublished nonfiction.

When I am not writing, you can find me kayaking, creating Gluten-free delicious dishes and desserts, or embracing a beach sunset.

  • When a kid asks me, "Can you read me a story?" Especially if they ask for one that I have written.

  • I love watching friends and family having a blast and enjoying good health and life!

  • A decadent piece of quality dark chocolate.

  • A smile conveys peace when basking in God's creations. These are simple pleasures like admiring a beach sunset, or viewing a rainbow on a snowy winter day.

/ A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I graduated from the Health Enrichment School of Massage in Lapeer, Michigan. For over 20 years I owned Body Logic Massage and taught continuing education to massage therapists.

For ten years, the Christian coffeehouse/nightclub ministry became my passion. I swear I got a decent buzz during each show as I watched people dance, sing, and simply enjoy the evening. I directed, promoted, and hosted in various music venues in Michigan, New England and Texas where I also presented workshops to communities who needed to develop their own similar program. We included music styles of many genres, comedians, art shows, helped individual needs and had lots of fun- a most rewarding experience.
Without music, life would be flat.
